Long ago, it seems, I was dreaming in starlight.
Far above the Earth, adrift in this life.
But once in a while I glanced at the world below.
And I hoped that you wouldn't mind, but you were someone I'd like to know.
Weary of our world, and the questions it forces.
I longed for eyes like mine that could see through the blinds.
You appeared and you said to me "Life is a struggle indeed,
but if you only search for flaws, well then that's all you'll ever see."
I need no other soul for me to breathe, but you are all the things I strive to be, so maybe we should walk this path in sync.
Sprialling through the universe unknown, swimming in an ocean on my own, with you I'll never face these fears alone again.
In grander terms of time, we are sands on the shoreline.
Unsubstantial points, that are briefly aligned.
But we're beautifully harmonized, and we're locked in a fluid trance.
And your motion can hypnotize, so I'll lie here and watch you dance.
Our thoughts have come to grasp that our troubles are pointless.
So why destroy the peace with the one that we love?
We can live independently, but we always come back to embrace.
And I know I can go alone, but as one we can rule this place.
My blood is only mine for me to bleed, but you are all the things I strive to be, so maybe we should walk this path in sync.
Sprialling through the universe unknown, swimming in an ocean on my own, with you I'll never face these fears alone again.
All the world will bend for us, but it cannot be broken.
Give your word, your word's enough, that defeat will not be spoken.
I need no other soul for me to breathe, but you are all the things I strive to be, so maybe we should walk this path in sync.
Sprialling through the universe unknown, swimming in an ocean on my own, with you I'll never face these fears alone again.
This album is a perfect example of music for the sake of music. There are little to no intelligible words, but lyrics are simply (catchy) melodies, almost as if we should move to the music, not flair. Arcade Island
I love how this album exemplifies feelings and moods, the songs aren't necessarily about events. Sometimes I think that says more about life than anything else. Arcade Island
