CHORUS:
I don't belong here, something went wrong here, I think I got carried away.
I wish I were dreaming, I wish they would leave me, but they're coming to take me away.
Have you ever felt fear before? Hoping desperately for help to come. Then you hear it scratching at your door...
Pray for the Sun.
Hear me out, somebody is looking for me.
Ask me now, what have they done.
Take my word, this is not benevolent.
Hear this first, it's time to run.
CHORUS
I can feel it when the sun goes down, like someone's watching just beyond the trees.
And every soul I tell is filled with doubt...
Pray for the Sun.
Break the angst, or somebody will break it for you.
Change the Earth, or we'll disappear.
Take the wheel, or life will take itself from you.
You can dream, but it's all still real...
CHORUS
How I wish that I could sleep tonight...
But the certainty of haunting dreams keeps an open eye.
If you knew the things I see and hide,
you'd hear this plea, and distance me, to try and save your life.
Or at least you'd try...
I don't belong here, something went wrong here, I think I got carried away.
I wish I were dreaming, I wish they would leave me, but they're coming to take you away.
This album is a perfect example of music for the sake of music. There are little to no intelligible words, but lyrics are simply (catchy) melodies, almost as if we should move to the music, not flair. Arcade Island
I love how this album exemplifies feelings and moods, the songs aren't necessarily about events. Sometimes I think that says more about life than anything else. Arcade Island
