Burn all the trees 'til we scorch the sky.
This is the way we survive.
Death is a demon with human eyes...
he holds no sorrow for life.
We've only concern for our own designs.
Geology's lost on the mind.
Blaming our losses on a God divine.
How could such progress be blind?
This is the dawning of a brand new age where light declines to shine,
Welcome to Plastic Paradise.
But we never mastered how to stay alive when we can't trust our hearts.
This is a world of wolves in the dark.
Fear on a screen feeds a fading brain,
we earn our pride from our pain.
Hunting the shadows we don't understand,
yet there's nothing more deadly than man.
This is the dawning of a brand new age where light declines to shine,
Welcome to Plastic Paradise.
But we never mastered how to stay alive when we can't trust our hearts.
This is a world of wolves in the dark.
We can't just wait for someone to show us the way to brighter times.
(Will you not go?)
Taking the long road to deconstructing a lie.
One way or another, this world will change.
Who will you be on that day?
This is the dawning of a brand new age, where light begins to shine,
free from our plastic paradise.
We are the masters of our grand design, so please don't waste your time, no one will save you from your denial.
(This is the way we survive)
(This is who we are)
This is a warning to our next-in-line, time's not on your side...
hoping will only get you so far.
This album is a perfect example of music for the sake of music. There are little to no intelligible words, but lyrics are simply (catchy) melodies, almost as if we should move to the music, not flair. Arcade Island
I love how this album exemplifies feelings and moods, the songs aren't necessarily about events. Sometimes I think that says more about life than anything else. Arcade Island
